Director Biography – Catherine L. Allard Catherine L. Allard is an actress, screenwriter and filmmaker. After the screenwriting of a first feature film, The Effect (2012), The Cord is her first short film as a director. She is currently finishing the screenplay for a second feature film, The Urn Carrier, which she will also direct.
