ARTMINUTE1 – THE PERFECT SMILE, 4min., Denmark

Directed by Asta Wellejus, Teddy Kristiansen

The story is about the Danish painter Jens Juel, who through his travels and inspiration from the old masters (Rembrandt) gains a unique inspiration and expertise. This is shown in the light/ colors he gathers on his travels and a special light/ glow that emerges from his brush.

SWEET POTATO, 5min., UK, Romance/Drama

Directed by Evie Ayres-Townshend

Sweet Potato is a story of discovering how we want to be loved. Emilia’s relationship with Tarron is fiery and hot, but is it quite right? When her female friend, Sam, opens Emilia’s eyes to acts of love and tentativeness she’s not experienced before, what she wants from relationships is called into question. Fragments of memory are intertwined and battle one another as Emilia enters an inner conflict that sings of the early twenties experience and a young woman’s first steps of queer discovery.

HIGH ROAD, 5min., Hungary, Thriller

Two friends walk in the forest. They find a wounded body on the side of the road. Once they find out that he is still alive and in huge need of medical help, the two main characters have to decide if they’re gonna help him even if it’s dangerous or they save themselves and let the wounded person die.
