Merivelle is currently applying to film schools this fall, 2021. Her first passion was for editing, which started when she was nine years old. After shooting a short film for her Film & Media midterm during her junior year, she realized she also had an interest in directing.
This past year, her first micro short, First Gig, has won multiple awards in three film festivals and multiple official selections. Ms. Hannah has also just completed her 2nd micro short, “When I Met Mia” for her creative supplement for her college applications.
