Get to know the writer:
What is your screenplay about?
900 pages is a story about broken dreams, about moving on, and about not giving up.
What genres does your screenplay fall under?
Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?
Because we’ve all been in that dark place where life seems to be pointless, and we need to make fun of that feeling, it helps us survive.
How would you describe this script in two words?
What movie have you seen the most times in your life?
Bridget Jones’s Diary
How long have you been working on this screenplay?
How many stories have you written?
… a lot, hahaha. Been writing since I was 12.
What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)
The Show Must Go On by Queen
What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?
A very dark state of mind and a tad of hopelessness
Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?
This is a strange script, for a strange audience, born from a strange feeling. I was curious to know how a complete stranger would interpret it. The feedback was on point and it offered great ideas and suggestions.
