Audience Feedback Video: BEING, Animation/Experimental, 2min, China
As a female animator original from China learning and working in North America animation film industry, there are lots of difficulties I need to face. For example the culture differences, and very tough industry competitions. Sometimes I can feel very strong isolation in my daily life, my family or friends have no idea what I am doing, and sometimes they even did not support or encourage me. But I was very lucky I found animation, which is such an unique art form and could allow me talk to people freely around the world. I am so happy to see people love my work.
Audience Feedback Video: MINOTAUR, 5min, Greece, Experimental/Fantasy
The myth of Minotaur given allegorically. A master narrator gives voice to Minotaur as he describes the heavy price that ancient Athens had to pay: the annual sacrifice of some of its youth, here en-boded by a mouse in the Maze. Ultimately, these kids symbolize the dreams of tomorrow that all of us have and are sacrificed in the alter of the altar of a false justice, that is reality.
