Daniela Di Salvo is a Canadian independent film director, writer, editor and cinematographer, best known for her short film Dead North and James & the Fish, the former of which was part of the official selection of the 2019 Toronto Smartphone film festival, where she won Best Emerging Filmmaker. Di Salvo is known for the inspired musical choices she showcases in her films and her ability to artistically convey emotion and movement on screen.
